Formed in 1991 and granted full Club membership in 1994, the Dufferin-Peel Skating Club is a member of Skate Canada, one of the largest and most progressive skating associations in the world. During this time the Dufferin-Peel Skating Club has assisted its members in achieving more multi-Gold level awards than the area has produced in the last 40 years. In addition, more competitors in all levels have called Dufferin-Peel home club during the last 10 years than this area has ever had before. Our special program of instruction and positive training atmosphere has helped Dufferin-Peel Skating Club members realize their skating goals faster. We’ve grown too. From 20 members in the Fall of 1991 to a medium sized Club of between 150 and 300 members that skate year-round, Dufferin-Peel continues to serve its members in this fast changing sport.
